Reveal Beauty Plastic Surgery

Those tired eyes looking back at you in the mirror aren’t always a sign of sleep deprivation. If you’re getting enough rest and still look tired, the problem could be the natural aging processes that occur in the skin. Lines on the forehead, puffiness around the eyes, and drooping eyelids are all signs of aging that can make you look more tired than you’d like.

Refresh your appearance with a cosmetic treatment to address age-related changes in the eye and forehead areas. Eyelid surgery or a brow lift can wake up and refresh your appearance.

Eyelid Surgery or Brow Lift- Which Procedure Do I Need?

For aging in the lower face, Dr. Clinton typically recommends facelift surgery. This procedure lifts sagging tissues and removes loose skin from the lower two-thirds of the face. Choosing the right treatment to address aging in the upper face can be more complex. The brow and eye areas share the same space and many patients struggle to choose the most effective treatment for rejuvenating this delicate area.

Choose a brow lift if you’re worried about lines and wrinkles on the forehead. An eyelid lift will address puffiness and wrinkling on the eyelids. These treatments can be paired together if you prefer rejuvenation in both areas.

If you’re not sure which procedure is best for you, schedule a consultation with your plastic surgeon. Dr. Clinton can help you weigh your options and choose the right treatments.

Recovery After Brow or Eyelid Surgery

Recovery times are similar for both brow lift and eyelid lift procedures. Patients typically miss one to two weeks of work.

At first, you’ll be tender and may experience some bruising and swelling. We’ll walk you through the recovery process and will provide detailed care instructions.

Are There Any Non-Surgical Options for Eyelid and Brow Rejuvenation?

Surgery is one option for eyelid and brow rejuvenation, but we have non-surgical treatments available, too. Smooth wrinkles with one of these less invasive options:

Surgery will provide a more dramatic result, but if you need to keep downtime to a minimum, our injectable treatments can do the trick. Many of our patients use injectables to delay surgery or to smooth out wrinkles until they are ready for surgery.
